William Reid

William Reid graduated with a BA in Archaeology and MA in Cultural Heritage and Resource Management at the University of Winchester. During his studies he was involved in a number of projects, excavating and surveying a variety of Roman, medieval and modern conflict sites.

He later specialised in conflict archaeology, leading him to work alongside organisations such as the Battlefields Trust and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission in a number of ongoing projects across Europe, investigating military camps, battlefield and aircraft crash sites.

Every year he also returns to train University of Winchester Archaeology students as a site supervisor, teaching them fieldwork practice.
